On behalf of the Organising Committee of the IWA-ASPIRE 2017, we wish to extend a warm ‘Selamat Datang’ (Welcome) and invite you to join us in what is planned to be a truly exciting Conference. The Conference topics will revolve around the theme “Breaking Boundaries – Developing a Better Water Future for Asia and the Pacific Regions”. The focus will be on a range of water related topics, including current development and water management issues in the Asia Pacific Regions to strengthening the water sector, to overcoming the uphill challenges in sustainable water management and how to get it right for the coming decades. The conference will be held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 11th – 13th September 2017 and is jointly organised by The Malaysian Water Association (MWA), Asia Pacific Group (ASPIRE) and The International Water Association (IWA).
There will be something for everyone in ASPIRE Kuala Lumpur 2017.
IWA- ASPIRE 2017 will feature Keynote Addresses by renowned speakers specially invited to share their personal experiences in handling water projects and the related issues. Workshops will be organised for delegates to be updated with the latest technology and applications in the industry, as well as methods and ways of trouble shooting and problem solving in managing projects. The Conference will also provide a platform for all water professionals to submit their papers and present and share their recent experiences. Most important of all, the Conference provide an invaluable networking opportunity for all water professional in the country, as well as those in the region to create and share business opportunity.
The Conference venue, KL Convention Centre, is easily accessible to many comfortable hotels of international standards located in the famous Kuala Lumpur City Centre Park with the famed Petronas Twin Towers next to it.
We also hope that your participation to the Conference in Kuala Lumpur will provide you with the opportunity to explore the rest of Malaysia, to savor its diverse and rich mixture of ethnic traditions, culture, cuisine and religious sites which represent a potpourri of a true Asia.
